• Watch DOMES video covering 24 different medical emergencies as a team
• Go through each Simulation Checklist and Office Drill for the 24 different medical emergencies with entire team. (USE Handout developed for this portion)
• Discussion of Airway skills station with dental team
• Discussion of AED skills station with dental team
• Discussion of Anaphylaxis skills station with dental team

DOMES Video: 24 medical emergencies with their treatment algorithm explained. The following medical emergencies will be covered:

2. Allergic Reaction
3. Angina
4. Myocardial Infarction
5. Hypertension
6. Hypotension
7. Asthma
8. Hypoglycemia
9. Local Anesthetic Toxicity
10. Foreign Body Obstruction
11. Sudden Cardiac Arrest
12. Apnea
13. Seizures
14. Emesis/Aspiration
15. Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke)
16. Adrenal Crisis
17. Tachycardia
18. Benzodiazepine Overdose
19. Narcotic Overdose
20. Syncope
21. Transient Ischemic Attack

23. Epinephrine Overdose

Upon completing each video, you will use a separate handout to perform Simulation Checklist and Office Drill guide, so the entire dental team knows their roles during these 24 medical emergencies.
